An amazing renovation which made me speechless. You won’t believe that this space used to be a car workshop. This complete renovation in Kolo, Poland comes from the Polish firm of Tamizo Architects Group.

33-year old father of two Derek Diedricksen is a carpenter by profession who has become something of a YouTube sensation. Thanks to his video series called Tiny Yellow Home. What makes this series and his work so remarkable is the fact that Derek’s creations are micro homes built from household junk that range from 24 square feet to just 4 square feet in size. Moveable by a single person like a wheelbarrow, each of these homes are made from scavenged materials like sheet metal, empty glass jars, parts of washing machines, discarded kitchen cabinets, old storm windows, shipping pallets and a lot of other junked items from everyday life. The cosy eco friendly micro house made from household junk is small yet snug. This house has proved that the homes are not only big, they are also super eco friendly and cost less than $200 to make.

An excellent architecture which makes the house actually wider from inside and it looks compact from outside. The Complex House is a single-family residence located in Nagoya, Japan that was designed by Tomohiro Hata Architects. The home features a series of five alternating pitched roofs that allow for many small rooms as per the homeowner’s wishes. The angular house and its sloping rooflines give it such unique character that it really stands out. The exterior is covered in the same metal siding as the roof giving a more toned down, uniform look.

The natural accomodation for snow lovers and for those who lament the lack of snow in winter. We suggest you a trip to Igloo Village Hotel Kakslauttanen in the Arctic Circle in Finland. In wintertime, accommodations include snow igloos and glass igloos – yes, the real igloos! There’s also a restaurant and a chapel for fairytale winter wonderland weddings. The glass igloos are built from a special thermal glass so the temperature inside the igloo is plenty toasty. If you prefer a more rustic approach, you can sleep in a snow igloo in which the temp hovers between -3°C and -6°C. Don’t worry, they provide a down sleeping bag rated to -32°C, woolen socks, and a hood.
The owners of this unique property wanted a new home surrounded by a manicured garden and a natural swimming pool. Located in Baden, France, the residence designed by French architect Patrice Bideau has a set of eco-friendly features embedded in its simple yet elegant architecture. With the residential building having been placed in the north-west area of the property, with a lot of garden space, the space was designed to include a vegetable garden to the east.
Spa House, designed by Metropolis Design, is the perfect name for this house, which is located on a mountainside overlooking Hout Bay in Cape Town, South Africa. This house is a perfect place for the guests and for relaxation. I am sure no guest would like to leave the house, surely i wouldn’t! The house is all about the water with a large infinity pool that even has an underwater viewing room/spa with huge windows to watch people swimming. At top the underwater spa is a terrace that extends from the indoor living area. The spaces merge with the opening of sliding glass doors. While the house was constructed of steel they did a great job of blending the house with the landscape by covering it with wooden slats.
